Best YouTube keywords for Travel Vlog channels

YouTube doesn't publish how many people search a term, so every figure a keyword tool shows next to a YouTube term is an estimate, usually from Google web data or a model. We show what we can actually verify: the terms YouTube's own autocomplete suggests, the terms the ranking videos use, and the questions their viewers ask in comments. That tells you where demand is and how well it's served, which is the decision a volume figure was standing in for.

We ran the flagship query through YouTube search (US, relevance order), took the top 5 results (videos of 3 minutes or under count as Shorts and are left out), and analysed their public metadata, description chapters, transcripts and comments using the same method VidHalo's analysis follows (its sub-topic taxonomy, coverage scoring and comment-demand rules applied to the same inputs), so a live VidHalo report for this query will agree in shape but can label things differently. Four of the five channels are filmmaking educators, so their titles say travel video, travel videos or travel channel, and only Jeven Dovey's title uses the word vlog. YouTube still ranks them for the vlog query, which tells you the two phrasings are treated as the same intent here.
