This looks up any public YouTube channel's current stats: subscribers, lifetime views, how many videos it has published, and the average views each one gets. That last figure is the interesting one — it separates a channel with a genuinely engaged audience from one whose subscriber count is a monument to a single viral video years ago.
What the subscriber count can and can't tell you
It's the most quoted number on YouTube and one of the least useful in isolation. It's rounded, it counts people who subscribed years ago and haven't watched since, and it has no bearing on whether a given video ranks — YouTube ranks per query, and small channels beat big ones on specific searches constantly.
Average views per video is the more honest signal of reach, and comparing it against the subscriber count tells you something real: a channel averaging views well above its subscriber count is being pushed to new audiences; one averaging far below has an audience that stopped showing up.

How do I check a YouTube channel's subscriber count?+
Paste the channel's @handle, its full URL, or a link to any of its videos into the box above. The current public subscriber count comes back instantly, along with total views, upload count and average views per video. No login, and nothing is stored.
Is the subscriber count exact?+
No, and no third-party tool's is. YouTube rounds public subscriber counts to three significant figures above 1,000 — so 138,000 could be anything from roughly 137,500 to 138,499. Only the channel owner sees the exact figure, in YouTube Studio. Tools that animate a count to the last digit are inventing the final three.
Does this show subscriber history over time?+
No. This is a live lookup of a channel's current public stats, not a historical graph — we'd rather do one thing accurately than chart numbers we haven't been recording. If you want long-run history for a channel you don't own, a dedicated tracking service like Social Blade has been recording it for years.
Can I track my own channel's subscribers here?+
You can look it up like any other, but for your own channel YouTube Studio is strictly better: it shows the exact count, daily changes, which videos won or lost subscribers, and the watch-hour figures this tool can't see. Use this for checking channels you don't own.
How many subscribers do I need to get monetized?+
500 for YouTube's fan-funding tier (memberships and Super Thanks) and 1,000 for the full tier that includes ad revenue — but subscribers are only half of each threshold. You also need watch hours or Shorts views, and those aren't public for a channel you don't own, which is why this tool only shows the subscriber half.
Why do the numbers here differ from another tracker?+
Different tools poll YouTube at different moments and cache for different lengths of time. This one caches each lookup for an hour to stay inside YouTube's API quota. Given the rounding above, small discrepancies between trackers are normal and mostly meaningless.
